I used four of these sandbags 90? apart on our trampoline to prevent it from blowing away during storms. I read in another review that someone used contractor bags inside the sandbag to fill up with sand. I did this and it worked great!

These sand bags are great! We put plastic bags in the canvas bags then filled with sand. They are well made and easy to use. So glad I made the investment.

the sand bags are great. I utilized the plastic bag within the sandbag and hasn’t dropped one grain of sand. The only comment i have is when i utilize my tent wall the velcro that attaches to the pole is in the same spot as the velcro for the bags. If i put a large coffee can under the sandbag i can attach the sandbag velcro and the wall velcro attaches fine.

The Apex Tent Weights are very functional and also useful for other purposes. There are many other tent weights out there that are either bi-sectional or flat, but these beat them in every way. Made of heavy canvas and double-stitched throughout, the Apex sandbags hold almost as much as the traditional bags. They have a hook/loop flap that runs the length of the bag and hugs the tent pole without ripping loose from the bag. A side pocket holds an accessory strap that is designed to allow the bag to hang from the upper tent structure or other points along the pole. For those of you in the AV and stage-hand side of things, the strap can also allow hanging onto the center of speaker and light stands and stage sections that need a wind or stability anchor. A heavy-duty zipper runs around the top to make filling and adjusting the bag contents very easy and worry-free from loose sand or pea-sized gravel getting loose (my favorite as it allows flexibility and does not work out of small holes) The top carry handle makes them an easy transfer and transport item. They come in several colors, of which we find the blue a perfect match to some school colors. We are progressively replacing our old bags. The price is great compared to other products out on the market and being made in the U.S.A. makes them a good buy to keep people employed in America. These are well thought out sandbags.

I've bought sandbags from The Sandbag store before for an umbrella. They were very well designed and did exactly what I wanted. I have a 10x10 folding beach cover that I didn't want to blow away. I found these weights and they even had a color that matched my cover. Excellent quality.

We used these apex sandbags in a 20x40 tent and used it for 3 days. It got windy at times and our tent didn't move an inch! People couldn't believe how nice and well made they were. I would recommend this to anyone. If carrying a heavy load is a issue then using a hand cart solves the problem!

Sandbag weights arrived quickly. I filled each bag with small river pebbles inside a garbage bag. The weights worked perfectly holding our tent down in the wind.

I bought 4 weights to anchor a tent on my driveway, they hold it pretty well. There were days when the wind got a little strong, the tent tilted but it did not move. I also like how they look, very well made.

The sandbags held our display tent steady through some pretty gusty wind very hot day. would recommend it to everyone.

This is my second purchase. These are just what you need. I filled mine with sand. They are solid and look professional. I recommend the Sandbag store often. I also use a different bag of theirs to secure an inflatable Mechanical Bull pillow.

I've used stakes and PVC pipe filled with concrete to hold down my tent at fairs. This are the handiest. They came two days after the order, glad I came across them on the net.

Very durable and easy to use!

So far, these sandbags have worked out great. Great build quality and the handle on them makes it easy to move them around. The velcro attachment area (on side of sandbag) makes it easy to attach the bags to tent poles (if you decide no to use the straps).

I had the chance to use my 7 bags this past weekend. I purchased 100 lbs of pea-gravel which I filled the 7 bags with a little over 14 lbs each. That’s 100 lbs more in weight that I have to pack and hall. I found that the 14 lbs was sufficient for holding down the canopy poles. The 14 lbs of pea-gravel only filled the bags about one third of its capacity, which in my opinion makes the bags to tall. If I filled the bags to capacity, the bags would hold close to 45 lbs each, which is overkill for holding down a canopy pole. Additionally, that would be packing and halling close to 300 lbs of weight. These bags could be half the size (shorter). I did like the way they attached (Velcro) to the poles. Each bag comes with a tie down strap (nice addition), however I didn’t use them. Would have been 5 star if not for the size.

Since buying my canopy sandbags I have used them about 4 times. They're easy to use, work great and I would highly recommend them.

Easy to fill and they seem very durable

If you need to anchor a canopy & cannot put stakes into the ground, these are the bags to use. Someone out a lit of thought into designing these bags, You can use the included strap to hook onto the top of he canopy & attach to the sandbag. or you can wrap the bag around a leg with the hook & loop attachment. When I filled my bags, they took about 30 pounds of play sand, so you'll have a good foundat5ion to keep the canopy from blowing away. The fabric is a heavy weave codura that should withstand years of use/abuse.

Great product. I like that we can pack it up and even bring it on a plane and then fill it when we get there, like sand in Hawaii for event in Kona, or rocks or whatever.

The canopy sandbags are worth the purchase if you have a tent for safety reasons. Any form of wind and / or weight that affects the tent, becomes a safety hazard and a potential loss of revenue if your tent is not secure. Mail service was quicker than I expected too!

These worked great to anchor my business tent at outdoor festival! Looked professionally made! They were so easy to fill and take to our show.
